PEQUOT PROJECT
The original house was where my client grew up. The time came for her and her husband to rework the house for their current needs and they called upon my services.
The house was renovated with a new kitchen, dining room, and living room with views to Salem Sound and to the rear lush vegetation on a dead-end road. Bosworth Architect designed this open floor plan with half walls defining the dining room from the open space between the kitchen and living room. The living room has French doors to an exterior deck with trellis that relates to the interior space and composition of beams.
The second floor was designed with new dormers in a rhyme that provided fantastic view to the harbor. New master bathroom with fun skylight shower stall, master closets and laundry room were designed into the new second floor diagram.
The exterior enhancements include a new covered porch, stone veneer to the garage foundation walls, new deck with trellis, and shingle style details in siding materials and windows.
