HARBORFRONT HOUSE
Once built as an Acorn Deck House this contemporary design seemed out of character adjacent to the Historic District. My client loved the location but couldn’t see the opportunity to reworking the character for their preferred lifestyle.
Bosworth Architect took this house down to the first-floor deck and designed an open concept diagram with enhanced interior and exterior features. The open concept kitchen/dining/living room take full advantage of the broad harbor views.
The exterior consists of sitting decks and porches supported on custom stone arches.
The interior has many customs from kitchen, office areas, fireplaces, and custom designed wine cellar with wood clad barrel-vaulted ceilings and up lighting. The door in the wine cellar were custom designed by Bosworth Architect to give a “speak easy” feel to the room.
Many customs from natural wood coffer ceilings, recessed paneling, surface mounted French doors with custom glazing. This project made our client so happy the phrase “in Craig we trust” became their moto with design decisions.
